University of Delaware: Parking Garage
Newark, Delaware
Three-level, 500-vehicle pre-cast concrete deck which was designed for a tight sight in the core of the University’s traditional main campus. This parking structure was able to fit in seamlessly due to a new 40,000 sf administration building that was included as part of the project which effectively allowed the parking facility to be shielded from view.

Union Hospital: Parking Garage
Elkton, Maryland
The parking needs of this community hospital no longer could be provided for efficiently on surface parking lots. This project created the first parking structure in Cecil County so great attention was provided to local authorities to ease the approval process. The design of the structure integrated with an adjacent medical office building as well as provided a pleasant pedestrian connection to the hospital. The design of the structure was particularly sensitive to the needs of the elderly and infirm by maximizing the percentage of flat floors for parking so exiting vehicles and walking to elevators was easy and understandable.

Taylor Hospital: Parking Garage
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The design of this 425-vehicle, six level parking garage was intended to serve both the hospital and an adjacent medical office building. The project needed to be designed to allow for a future bridge to connect the garage, the MOB and the hospital. A challenge that the designed solved successfully was to have this bridge connect to three buildings with different floor elevations seamlessly.

Port of Wilmington Dry Cargo Warehouse
Wilmington, Delaware
This facility, an 100,000 square foot warehouse for the transition of goods to railcar and trucks is highly efficient. The foundation system of this project was the greatest challenge where substantial settlement was anticipated for the building which needed to be mitigated and proactively resolved so the rail siding and loading dock maintained proper elevation relative to the buildings floor.
